Hey there,

The inability of Chrome browser to display the intended webpage causes this error. Try these possible solutions:

1. Try checking antivirus settings, if it had blocked the access to that specific URL or if chrome is allowed to access the internet via antivirus.

2. Clear cookies and refresh the webpage.

3. Check if the URL you entered is valid or been shifted to the new address.

Hope it helps!

The full error reads “Error 102 (net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED): The server refused the connection.” You may receive this on Google Chrome if the browser was unable to find and load the requested page. One possible cause is your internet connection. If your computer is connected to a router, try resetting it.

If the router has a power button, press it to turn it off then unplug it from the power for about 10 to 20 seconds. Press any button on the router to drain any leftover power and to power cycle. After this, plug the router back to the power and turn it on. When the router is ready, try visiting a website then click some links.

Also, try using a different browser to verify your connection. Another possible cause is an incorrect URL. If you are entering the address on the browser manually, make sure you enter it correctly. If this doesn’t work, try checking your antivirus or internet security program and make sure it is not blocking the browser.

If you have an internet security program, make sure Google Chrome is not blocked in the firewall. Usual cause of this problem is the firewall blocking the browser from connecting to the internet.
