How much does a 3D printer cost and where can I find one? What is the medium that is inserted on the 3D printer to be printed on? Do these printers actually come in a smaller size and how portable can they be for an average user who works travels a lot and may want something that he/she can move around with?

Is it possible to get a portable 3D printer

There are several 3D printers which costs you around in the range of $100 – $1000. Not all the printers are portable. Some of the printers come with preorder. You can order these printers from their websites
1. Peachy Printer
This printer is inexpensive compared to other printers. It creates/prints things with liquid light sensitive resin. That gets solidified when it comes to light from laser beam.
Price of this printer: Around $100

2. MakiBox
this is also affordable printer. This comes with partially assembled, but with some minor configurations and few parts it can get assembled and ready to use.
Price of this printer: $200 – $300
