Hi Experts,

iPHONE won't sync with Windows 7 fresh install. I get this error, "unknown error" 0xE8000065. I previously had Vista in same desktop and everything is fine. I installed Windows 7 freshly and also iTUNES latest version and I even ended up formatting my iPHONE. But still no luck

Any help is of great use to me.

Hi there!
 
I think I have encountered this issue before with my iPhone. Here are some probable solutions:
 
A.  Kill Windows Media Player/MP3 and Apple Mobile Device processes in Task Manager and have the iPhone in Device Firmware Update. Check if syncing is successful.
 
B. Connect iPhone to computer, open iTunes, wait for the error to show up again, then turn off iPhone without disconnecting it, close iTunes, then open iTunes then turn on iPhone. furthermore, end all apple app and programs running. then turn on iPhone.
 
*These are the same steps other iPhone users are following, both worked for me.
