When I try to start Intuit Statement Writer (ISW) or want to generate a report in ISW, I get the following error message:

Unable to open statement: System.AccessViolationException:
Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an
indication that other memory is corrupt.

Server stack trace:

Exception rethrown at [0]:

I really need your help to solve this.

Thanks!

Intuit Statement Writer (ISW) Fatal Error

It is a big problem if ever your RAM memory card is already defective. It is quite expensive to buy a new one. If you see this error again, try restarting your computer. After Windows has booted, open Intuit Statement Writer.

Do not open any other application besides Intuit Statement Writer. Make your computer exclusive for this application so it can use all of the available resources on the machine.

If you still receive an error after doing this, try uninstalling the application and then install it back to fix any corrupted files in the installation and to restore its settings back to default including some that you might have customized.

If reinstalling the application did not work, if you have more than 1 RAM memory card installed on your CPU, try removing 1. Be sure to turn off the computer before doing this. After removing 1 RAM card, start your computer then open the application.

See if you still get the error. Replace the remaining RAM card in the CPU with the one you removed if ever the error is still there. If nothing seems to work even if you already tested all of the RAM memory cards on your CPU, try upgrading your current version of the application.
