Internet Download Manager : error 0x800700C1

Hi,

I'm having a problem with my Internet Download Manager. I keep receiving an error called "error 0x800700C1" when I logon to my computer. When I run the program it stops appearing, but when I exit the program the error comes up again. Is this a virus or something I need to worry about?

Internet Download Manager : error 0x800700C1

check your software, may be you need to reinstall it, also if you are connected through network than check you firewall or proxy settings, consult your network administrator in that case.

Antivirus program may also be reason who can block your download manager because you download different kind of files including exe, pdf and zip etc.

Also try to uninstall your antivirus and disable your file wall and restart your PC.

OR

you may have downloaded some virus through your downloading software which can also be cause.

run your antivirus for checking. If there will be any virus, your antivirus can remove that and then you can check the working of your program again.
