Intermittent connection after moving server box to the AIMS

I have a problem with the intermittent connection that happens regularly from time to time, and I have just fixed and moved my server box to the AIMS. The connection drops below for a short time or for about two to three seconds before it reconnects again back to its connection. I have a collection of games on that box in which the outcome in the server always freezes, lags, and interrupts all the player’s actions during the game. As a result to this many players can’t play the game well. I really wanted to solve this issue because I’m getting negative feedbacks, and also reports that this issue affects many users’ ISPs and TM’s from both Malaysia and Singapore. This problem that originated before can be done with a continuous trace route so that it can be monitored. In the involvement of groups of user’s ISP or server’s upstream provider, I then need to acknowledge this issue even it doesn’t look easy. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Intermittent connection after moving server box to the AIMS

Hi Molly,

The problem on intermittent connection is in your Internet Service Provider (ISP) especially if it is wireless. Some causes of lag are slow internet connection and overuse of your Bandwidth. To make it sure that your Systems work smoothly, you must have a fast internet provider in your country and make it sure all computers in your network are cap, or limit each bandwidth to maximize its internet. With regards to trace route that would be depending how far is your server to your client for example malaysia to singapore.

Thanks,

Chris
