Setting up an amplifier with my computer

I am trying to fix my personal computer and my amplifier. I have set my amplifier with my computer so that I can access it on the stage. In the amplifier interface, I can only access my music on Drive C: and I could not access any folders except for my music files on Drive C:. I just figured out that the amplifier software has a limitation, and I’m using a Denon AVR 4310.

What I wanted to happen is that, I want everything to run via my personal computer, rather using the amplifier as my controller. I just thought that I need some additional software that can be able to do this for my personal computer. I’m quite confuse in the settings or the source of the amplifier that needs to be use while playing music that will be played on the personal computer streams to the amplifier itself. Any advice will be appreciated and thank you.

Have you checked the other settings of the amplifier software to make sure if indeed it can only read the contents under My Music or if there are custom settings for other folders in the computer? If not, try and see if there are new updated version of its bundled software. If there are, try and update its software and see if there are additional configuration options. If there are no updates or if an update does not add any additional options to set the amplifier and since you’d like to make the computer the only source for playing the music, you could just put the music that you’d like to play in your My Music folder.
