I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab P1000 with 16 GB internal storage and 512 MB RAM.  I have a 32 GB Micro SD which is already full.  What will happen if I install a 64GB Micro SD card?  I need Samsung Galaxy Tab info regarding 64 GB Micro SD.  Thank you.

Hello there Jak Dikola,

There were some problems with the 64GB Micro SD cards some time ago, but with the newer models of the Samsung Galaxy Tab they are all gone.

Since you haven't given us a full model of your mobile phone, I can't verify if the card will work or not, but most likely it will. Before placing the card in your phone make sure it's FAT32 formatted.

According to a forum known as android-central, it is possible to use a 64 Gb memory card with your Samsung Galaxy tab.

However, you need to format the memory card using your computer.

On a windows 7 machine you can use the disk management utility to do this.

If its too complicated, you can download free formatting applications from the internet. The aim is to format the memory card to the FAT 32 format

After this, put the memory card into the tablet and restart the tablet.

After it starts up, it should recognize the card and you can start using it.
