Please guys help me to connect this and tell me why I have this error? What is the main cause of this error?
KeyStudio 49i Not Found
It appears that the KeyStudio 49i is not connected to your computer. Please connect the KeyStudlo 49i, and the re-launch the M-Audio GM Module. if the KeyStudio 491 is already connected, ensure that the KeyStudio 491 driver is properly installed
How I will connect my electronic piano to my PC
If you are keeping your computer in a very up-to-date state making sure that you install all the latest updates for your operating system and the drivers for the different devices then this error should be expected. Not all updates end up good and benefitting. There are times when you install an update to the operating system it damages the installation or the configuration of a program.
When this happens, your only option is to reinstall the affected application because sometimes the one that is affected is the driver. Since it is an electronic piano, it should come with a setup CD for the software. Uninstall KeyStudio 49i, restart your computer, and then install it back. Start KeyStudio 49i and then connect the piano to the computer.
See if it detects it. In case you no longer have the CD for your device, you can download the software from M-Audio Drivers and Software Updates. Just select your operating system on the third column to download the appropriate version for your computer. For Windows, it supports Windows XP [Home or Professional] Service Pack 2 and up x86 only, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 both x86 and x64.
It doesn’t support Microsoft Windows 8 and Microsoft Windows 8.1. For Mac, it runs on Mac OS X 10.3.9 Panther until 10.7.4 Lion.
