HI folks, this is simply irritating, whenever I try to open Trillian Astra error message pops up and there it stops to run further. This message also pops up with other programs like iTunes too. My system is upgraded and it has all minimum requirements. Your help will be appreciated. Thank you.

The procedure entry point _p could not be located in the dynamic link library SHELL32.dll.

How to fix procedure entry point error in trillian?

This error might occur if shell32.dll is corrupted or misconfigured. Shell32.dll is the main part of Windows Explorer that ensures the context menu management for easier access to various tasks.

In order to fix this issue, go to Start menu >> type “cmd.exe” >> right-click and select “Run as administrator”. Then, run this command:

sfc /scannow

This will check and fix any corrupted DLL files inside your system. After the task is complete, run Trillian again.

If that doesn’t work, download and install SHELL32.dll from here. Then, try the process once again.

If all these attempts fail, download and install latest Trillian.
