How to convert word to PDF commandline open source files?

Can anyone help me to generate a word to PDF command line open source for Windows?

We used to make doc files in Open Office but the conversion ruins the original formatting of the document especially on the tables and images. I need a program that can do the conversion and preferably free.

Thanks for whatever help.

You need to be install an adobe reader. First you should download it from web and if download and initial installation is fully completed then adobe reader file would be in your computer desktop. Then any pdf file always automatically changed by word doc.

Thank you and see you again.

You can generate PDF files from MS Word. Make sure you have the latest version of word. MS Word 2010 upward will convert it easily.

To convert, take the following steps:

1. Open the .doc file to be converted

2. Click the menu tab.

3. Click on "save as". You will see some options here. Opt for PDF format and you have your word file in PDF form.

I hope I answered your question.

Hey Isabella,

1. You can convert the files online without any hassle of downloading any software.

You can do this at https://www.wordtopdf.com/

2. Alternatively, if you want to save bandwidth and do it at your desk, you can download this software and convert WORD files to PDF. http://www.kingsoftstore.com/windows/convert-word-pdf.html

3. For converting files on Command line, you first have to download this software from http://officetopdf.codeplex.com/.

Then you can use this command line at command prompt

Note: Make sure you have installed Adobe Reader for the above cases.
