I work in sales and marketing company, and I have made separate workbooks in Excel for sales of every month. Now, I am asked to make a report for the difference in profit. Is there any easy ways to compare excel spreadsheets for differences or me have to do it manually?

How To Compare Excel Spreadsheets For Differences?

Yes! You can know the difference in profits by a simple method. If you have two workbooks to compare, then use the following steps:

• First, open the spreadsheets you want to compare

• Go to View tab, and then click on View side-by-side It will open the two files in the same window horizontally. To change the arrangement, click on arrange all and choose what you want.

• You can also compare your data row-wise by turning on synchronous scrolling under the View side-by-side option.

If you have more than two files to compare, then go to View side-by-side and in the dialog box that appears, choose the file you want to compare with the existing workbooks.

You can also view all the open Excel workbooks at the same time by clicking on Arrange All button in the View tab.
