I am using a Free Avira antivirus and I update it almost everyday. But for not updating a few days, now it fails to update again and again. Moreover it doesn't allow to scan directly on pendrives or any other USB removable disks.

Please suggest.

Hi ,Alexis hope the following steps will guide you in fixing of this issue..:

  • The problem you are facing is generally occurred for all the the trial version softwares because they wanna live by selling them so coming to the problem as you even updating month by month it is not registered.
  • Another note is that registered version we can get only by purchasing officially and this occurs due to your time will be expired and even they will not identify the malicious events.
  • Its better to uninstall the virus and install another antivirus programs or else if you need the same Avira then simply format your system that is more than enough its better replace rather than formatting and if you are facing difficulty in the problem purchase the original because even the trial version will not catch the errors after 1 week try it you will get to know once.
  • Use another antivirus program to prevent damage of the system with virus.
