Try to install windows vista as an operating system it will solve your sound issues, try to check on your bios if you have installed the sound card, if not then just download the sound driver.About your battery try to buy a new one and replaced your battery.

How old is your laptop?Maybe you need to buy a new one so that you will have no problem about your laptop, just kidding.About the network check your bios about the device that are connected on your computer then make sure to install and update all the necessary drivers for each of the device you need to work on for you.

Try to format your computer or laptop then after that make sure to installed all your drivers and check if you have the sound now, as i advice earlier, try to install windows vista.

If you have a Lenovo ThinkPad T41 laptop and the battery is not charging, check if the charger is the original charger that came with the laptop. If not and it is from a different laptop, you need to purchase a new charger for your Lenovo ThinkPad T41. You need to use the charger specified for your laptop because other chargers with different voltage rating can damage your machine.

If it is the original charger then that means the battery is broken. Just buy a new battery for your laptop and it should work again. For the meantime, remove the battery and connect the charger. This will allow you to use the laptop without the battery just like an ordinary desktop computer.

If the problem is with the audio and network connection, check if the sound card and network card are installed. When you install Microsoft Windows, the installation doesn’t include installing the sound card and other peripherals. You have to install them manually after the operating system has been installed. The drivers for these devices should be included in the setup CD that came with your laptop.

You can also look for the drivers in the Lenovo website.
