The installer you are trying to use is corrupted or incomplete.

This could be the result of a damaged disk, a failed download or a virus.

You may want to contact the author of this installer to obtain a new copy.

It may be possible to skip this check using the /NCRC command line switch

(NOT RECOMMENDED).

Hello,

Either the file you have download is corrupted or the installation was not completed. That could be due to the action of the installer which made the installation to be faulty.

First check whether this issue is coming to all forms of software installed in your PC. I mean, if it is coming only to the software those are downloaded by internet or with hardware media such as CD, DVD or both.

If it is coming in downloaded one's try below workarounds.

1. Use different browsers, Check if all giving same issues.

2. Use different download managers.

3. Play with Antivirus. Disable, Enable and update. Check if any of this solves the issue.

4. Scan for Viruses.

If it is coming on physical media, That simply means it is damaged.

Good Luck..!!

That error indicates a problem with the installer you are using to install GOM Encoder. The error seems to be not related to compatibility but with the state of the installer. If you downloaded the installer or setup file from a different website, download the installer again from the official website to make sure the installer is working.

Also, before downloading and installing an application, check that your computer meets the requirements. To download the latest version, go to GOM Encoder. The latest version at the moment supports Windows XP Service Pack 3 (32-bit only), Windows Vista (32-bit only), Windows 7, Windows 8.x, and Windows 10 both 32-bit and 64-bit.

It requires Intel Pentium 4 or equivalent AMD Athlon 64 or faster processor, 500 MB RAM, Microsoft DirectX 9.0c-compatible video card, and 30 GB free space. The following input formats are supported: FLV (FLL), MP4, AVI, DivX, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MKV, OGM, WMV, ASF, MOV, RM, RMVB, M4V, VOB, 3GP, QT, TP, MTS, MP3, WAV, M4A, and AAC. For RM and RMVB video formats, additional codec needs to be installed.

The following output formats are supported: AVI (MPEG-4, AVC), WMV, FLV (H.263, H.264), 3GP, 3G2, OGM, MP3, M4A, AAC, PCM and AVI (XviD, DivX, MotionJPEG, AVC), and MKV.
