Got an error while creating a partition using Acronis Disk Director

Hi Gurus,

I was using Acronis Disk Director to partition my hard disk so that I can have multiple OS which I require for my program testing.

However, I got this error message while creating another partition for a new OS (see screenshot below). 

Error

Acronis Disk Director Suite was not able to create the partition because there is no enough free space on the selected hard disk drive.

I checked my available disk space, and it turned out that I had enough for another partition.  

I need your expertise here, gurus.

Hello Denben,

For a partition to be created you need to have enough space on the partition that you need to partition into two. And therefore if you have many documents on the hard drive you will have to move some of them and back them up on an external hard drive for you to create some space for the partitioning process to be successful.

But you can also make a dual boot on the partition that you currently have, so that you will have two operating systems on the same partition and when you boot the system it will let you choose whichever operating system that you want to boot with.
