Gmail i get Page cannot be displayed error

Hi All,

When i try to access gmail URL. i get a message "The page cannot be displayed" and the Address will turn to this.."http:///?%20www.gmail.com"..

I am able to access it from other systems in office but not from my home system

You should use the complete URL for GMail to be able to access the site, use https://accounts.google.com/ServiceLogin?service=mail&passive=true&rm=false&continue=https://mail.google.com/mail/&ss=1&scc=1&ltmpl=default&ltmplcache=2&emr=1&osid=1#

If in case that this error occurs, try accessing other websites as well. If the problem still insists, there must be a problem elsewhere.

1. Check if you have a good internet connection. Maybe your home computer does not have an internet connection nor has slow connection. If you are using Internet Explorer, run the network diagnostic tools. Or reset your router.

2.Check also your internet browser.  You may have a cache or cookie problem. Delete your browsing history to free some disk space.  Make sure though that if you want to keep your bookmarks or favorite site, you should choose the option that says "Preserve favorites website data".

It seems that you are trying to login to a secure website. Try to check your firewall settings and uncheck if your firewall software blocks secure sites in a network.  Click the Tools menu, and then click Internet Options. On the Advanced tab, scroll to the Security section and check settings for SSL 2.0, SSL 3.0, TLS 1.0, PCT 1.0.

Try to delete browser cookies and cache and use HTTPS instead of HTTP https://accounts.google.com/ServiceLogin?service=mail&passive=true&rm=false&continue=https://accounts.google.com/ServiceLogin?service=mail&passive=true&rm=false&continue=https://mail.google.com/mail/&ss=1&scc=1&ltmpl=default&ltmplcache=2&emr=1&osid=1#mail/&ss=1&scc=1&ltmpl=default&ltmplcache=2&emr=1&osid=1# .Try to use different browsers too. If a spyware have altered your host file and https://accounts.google.com/ServiceLogin?service=mail&passive=true&rm=false&continue=https://accounts.google.com/ServiceLogin?service=mail&passive=true&rm=false&continue=https://mail.google.com/mail/&ss=1&scc=1&ltmpl=default&ltmplcache=2&emr=1&osid=1#mail/&ss=1&scc=1&ltmpl=default&ltmplcache=2&emr=1&osid=1# is not being displayed, you might want to check this article:

Dear Gonzalviz

I also found Page cannot be displayed error problem during use of google/gmail account. This occur sometime when server are too busy. It also be occurred when the internet speed is slow or are not being satisfactory level. It can be solved by using full URL of Gmail https://accounts.google.com/ServiceLogin?service=mail&passive=true&rm=false&continue=https://mail.google.com/mail/&ss=1&scc=1&ltmpl=default&ltmplcache=2&emr=1&osid=1# and internet connection and browser should be checked for this.
