Extracted game on the wrong drive

I accidentally extracted a game on the C drive. Now, whenever I double click the drive C: icon, it starts the game. On, right clicking the icon and selecting “open”, it opens the C drive. I have uninstalled the game but the problem persists.

Extracted game on the wrong drive

Hello Rebecca It's pleasure to me for providing the solution for your query and the problem you have got is most commonly in many of the cases especially in windows Operating systems.

As coming into the problem you downloaded the data in some drive let it be C drive and it came in format of rar so that it cannot be accessed until you extract it to some place in some drive.

You have extracted the data in C drive and while accessing it by giving the double click on the c drive icon the game is going to run as you expected and when opening manually without double click by selecting open it is opening the C drive.

The problem arising even after performing uninstallation successfully because the cache which mean some temporary file may be still present they will be removed only when you make your system reboot once to complete uninstallation process.

Now after rebooting the problem will not appear again as the total files related to game will be deleted and no temporary or any other files will be present in drive.
