Error on using PS3 controller as a mouse

I’m currently using an IBM PC and have been receiving error such as 'Game port drivers are not properly configured. Please consult the device manager. ” This error started when I tried to use my PS 3 controller as a replacement for my mouse. How can I solve this issue?

Error on using PS3 controller as a mouse

Hi,

It looks like you have not installed the ps 3 controller drivers on your computer. Every external device connected to a computer has a driver. There are drivers for sound and video also. Your mouse had a river through which you could use it. Now, you have changed the mouse and you are using the PS3 controller as a replacement.

The computer does not recognize your PS3  controller as you have not loaded the controller's drivers on your computer. If you have the PS3 controller's drivers then load them onto your computer and you will have no problem. If you do not have the drivers, then you cannot use the controller as a replacement of the mouse.
