Error in two computers where Advance Installer 9 is used to pack

Hello all,

I created a project, which I named 'eforms file manager'. It is a small application that prevents users from inadvertently messing up their excel files.

I used Advance Installer 9 to pack it and then distribute it to my colleagues of which, two of them have had difficulties in running it, but it works fine on my computer and on those of all the other people I gave it to.

In both the computers, where the error occurs, they are running windows 7.

I used VB 2010 using .net framework 3.0 to create it.

After I have installed it, all the files in the directory have a locked symbol on them, which is not good.

Can anyone guide me?

Hello Elijah,

You will have to exit all instances of FileZilla that are currently running as follows:

  • Press CTRL + ALT + DEL on your keyboard.
  • In the window that opens click on Task Manager, and then click on the processes tab in the Task Manager window.
  • Look for FileZilla processes and end them.

You will need to ensure that the routine stats have been elevated, and they should start running automatically.

Another method you can try using to solve the problem is the following:

  • Right click on the setup file.
  • And then choose the option to execute as Admin.
  • The installation should start running after that.
