Hi, follow these steps:

  • You will need to remove this program using the anti-spyware. If you don’t have it. Here’s the link:
  • Once done with the installation, click start then RUN and type appwiz.cpl then OK. In currently installed programs and updates, try to see if these programs are listed:
  • HP Component Manager, Easy Installer, Web Search, Win Tools, if one of these or more are listed click the program then click the Change/Remove, Click yes if prompted to confirm, Just follow the instruction on the screen.
  • Now you will have to delete the Internet Temporary Files. Follow these steps.
  • Click again the start button and then RUN, then type cmd then OK, In the DOS Prompt type: cd\windows\temp, and ENTER
  • In CMD prompt again type del*.tmp then enter, once done empty your recycle bin as well.
  • Then reinstall your Corel.

You can download and install CorelDraw Graphics Suite X6. Watch this video for a tutorial:

Since you did not put in your inquiry your computer’s specifications, the first thing that comes to my mind is an incompatible system. To know if your machine is really compatible to run CorelDraw X5, check its system specifications below:

  • Intel Pentium 4, or AMD Athlon 64, or AMD Opteron
  • Must be running with either Windows XP, Windows Vista, or Windows 7 all 32-bit and 64-bit versions with all the latest Service Packs installed
  • 1 GB RAM
  • 1.5 GB hard drive space
  • 1024 x 768 screen resolution
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 and up

If your machine passes all these categories then the problem has nothing to do with compatibility. The next thing I found about the “Error 1935” you got is that it is a kind of error mostly generated by Microsoft Windows when installing several applications. The error is triggered by several third-party programs and the programs that are running in the background of the computer. To possibly fix it, click Start, Run, then enter without quotes “appwiz.cpl” and then hit Enter. This will actually open the Add or Remove Programs applet in the Control Panel.

Under the list of installed programs, see if one or more of these applications are installed and then uninstall them: System Mechanic, WinTools, WebSearch, HP Component Manager, WinEasy, and Easy Installer. The next step is to clean the system’s temporary files. Click Start, Run and then enter without quotes “cmd” and then hit Enter. Inside the command prompt window, type without quotes “cd\windows\temp” and then hit Enter. Next type without quotes “del *.tmp” then press Enter. Close the command prompt window and then empty the Recycle Bin.

After doing all of these, restart your computer and then try installing CorelDraw X5 again.
