Try changing the Views option of the files or folders. If they are set to Thumbnails, try changing it to Tiles or maybe something else if it still doesn’t work. In Windows, the Views option can be set to Thumbnails, Tiles, Icons, List, Details, and sometimes it can also be set to Filmstrip if the files are all images or pictures, which usually is automatically done by Windows.

If this doesn’t work there is probably some other problem. Try checking your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system. For a much thorough diagnostics on the system, use a disk utility application like Norton Utilities, PC Tools Performance Toolkit, or Norton SystemWorks.
