Error message while attempting to use webcam

 I have installed an A4tech webcam on my pc, but when I used it I received an error message stating that the webcam is not installed and it is requesting me to insert a disk. I am pretty sure that I have installed my webcam. Can anyone tell me how can I fix this problem? Or do I have to repeat the whole installation process?

Hey jamie!

The problem you discussed above is similar to the problem I faced a decade ago. Basically when we see in our device manger it shows that Webcam driver is properly installed. But there is a possibility that driver we install is not compatible with the model of our Webcam.

What you need to do just install Driver genius, it will update all your windows drivers and all drivers will be compatible to your windows.

Now restart windows and run your webcam, it will not ask to insert the driver disk again.
