Error message occurs while using SQL server 2005

Hi experts,

I always get the following error message using SQL server 2005 maintenance plan wizard to do a backup database maintenance plan. Why am I getting this annoying error while I leave all the options as default? Can I get any resolution to fix this issue ASAP?

This is a common error while doing back-ups in SQL 2005. Try the below steps to see if it resolves your error:

  1. Verify that you have installed service pack 2 on the clients and the server
  2. If you are logging in as the admin, make sure that the password field is not left blank
