I installed IE8 a few days ago but I am not so satisfied with the result because there was problem on Adobe Flash Player, so I reinstall again my older version IE7. Although after I reinstall the IE7, I got the following message: "Setup cannot continue because a more recent version of Internet Explorer has been detected on this computer.” What is the main problem here particularly on AFP?
You must first go to http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/alternates/ and run adobe flash player uninstaller. This will remove corruption. Once it is uninstalled close all your open browsers then go to https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-windows.html. In this page go to the section that says "Download Flash Player with Manual Installer" YOu will then see "FLash Player 10 Active X " and Flash Player 10 Plugin". Both can be downloaded but you have to run the downloads one at a time.
I would suggest that you try to uninstalled and re installed your adobe flash player, you have to do it manually, make sure to update your adobe flash player, if its working on Internet Explorer 7 thenyou must first need to uninstalled your Internet Explorer 8 before you download and installed adobe flash player.
If your using windows xp sp3 and failed to install adobe flash player, you need to check your antivirus because it might block or prevent you from installing the adobe flash player.Still if you cant install it on Internet explorer 8 just uninstall this browser and return to Internet explorer 7 and then you can download and install the adobe flash player here.
But you can try this small tip click on tools,click on internet options,look for the advanced tab then scroll all the way to the button and un check the box which says enable memory protection to help mitigate online attack, it will help resolve your problem.
