“LabVIW” error occur for containing a “$” character for “MathScipt” by the default search path list or the working directory.

  • To solve this issue, be sure the default search path list or the working directory is not containing “$” character for “MathScript”.
  • Use the “MathScript Preferences” dialog box which is in LabVIEW 8.2 or earlier to check the research path list or working directory. To display dialog box go to the LabVIEW MathScript Window >> “File»MathScript Preferences”.
  • In “LabVIEW 8.5” or later, utilize the “MathScript”: To check the search path list or working directory go to the “LabVIEW MathScript Window” >> File >> LabVIEW MathScript Properties >> select MathScript.

To check the search path Category list go to Tool >> Options dialog box >> select MathScript.

Note: In “LabVIEW 2009”, now the page “MathScript: Search Paths” is renamed as the "MathScript page".

To fix this problem, you also can see at the “MathScript.ini” file which is located in the “LabVIEW Data” directory.
