Hi Tech Pro,

I was almost to the end of the Microsoft office Profession Plus 2010 installation Progress. However, I was stuck up with an error 1935, this error message stopped my installation altogether. I did the uninstallation of previous version but still I do not understand why this is creating more problems. How do I install the Microsoft Office professional without any problem? Please guide me. Thanks.

Error 1935 indicates to problem with the .NET Framework runtime installed in your PC. In order to run, MS Office 2010 have to get .NET Framework with proper installation but your PC doesn’t meet this requirement. You have to repair the installation or update to the latest version of .NET Framework.

Firstly, try to repair your .NET Framework installation.

  1. Go to Start menu >> Control Panel >> Programs >> Programs and Features.
  2. Right-click on “.NET Framework” and select “Repair”.
  3. Follow the wizard.

If no luck, you have to update your .NET Framework to the latest version.

  1. Go to the installed program’s list, right-click on “.NET Framework”, select “Uninstall”.
  2. Download .NET Framework 4.5.1 Offline Installer.
  3. Run the setup.

This will install .NET Framework with all the previous .NET Framework support and make your Office 2010 installation successful.
