Email appears to be invalid: validation error

I am running Adobe Connect 9 installed on my server and I am unable to go beyond the mail settings window.

My SMTP host is working fine with other applications, but it somehow doesn’t work with this application. I am putting a valid email address under System Email field. But, it still comes up with an “Invalid Email ” error.

Hey,
There may be one of the following issues with you. It represents that the Google does not recognize your username or your email address which you gave. There must be more than one @ sign or you might be entering yahoo or Gmail instead of yahoo.com or gmail.com. So kindly confirm all these and contact back if it persists.
