I have this error when I want to open a DWH files of GRAITEC 2013 on my friend PC with GRAITEC 2012. I thought that will work because is the same format. Any solution for this error ? Is there no compatibility between GRAITEC 2012 and 2013 ?

I’m sorry but I don’t think that’s possible because the file you want to open was created using a much newer version of the application and the program you want to use to open the file is older than the one that created it. I’m sure and what most programs follow, most applications if not all are backward compatible.
This means, a file created using an older version of a program can be opened with modern versions of the application. To make it simple, new versions of any program can open old files. This is how backward compatibility works. In your case, you cannot open a file created using Graitec 2013 using Graitec 2012 because the file is more advanced than the program you are using to open it.
If you want to open a Graitec 2013 file, you need to use Graitec 2014 or Graitec 2015.
