DAQmx ver. 9.2.3 internal software error

 Hi,

“Internal Software Error occurred in MIO software. Please contact National Instruments Support” this is error-224606 I am receiving. DAQmx Control Task.vi is used to abort a task which is waiting for a digital trigger of an analog acquisition which has no timeout and my error happen when I try this. LabVIEW2012 sp1 is the software I am using and DAQmx 9.2.3 is my version. DAQPad-6016 is the device I am using.

A USB-6251 was not giving me any problems when I ran this software on it. Solution will be helpful. Thanks.

Do the following things one by one

  1. The error might be due to a fault or something like that. It can be cause by any reason. But in order to make it sure, you must create break points if you can to see where the error actually happens.
  2. Do an experimentation of the self test of the device in MAX. This can be achieved very easily if you know how to do it. If the test has been passed, means that your channel is working perfect.
  3. Either update your software to a newer version or gets a new version from the website and reinstall it.
  4. If you still get the error then the best thing is to call their customer support and then tell them your problem.
