I need help in creating a PayPal check-out in WordPress. I am thinking of starting an online shop which will be developed using WordPress. I am going to design the webpage myself. I do not have any in-depth knowledge about developing check-out with PayPal option. I would like to know where I can obtain the resources that will help me to achieve my goals. Is it easy to build PayPal payment option in WordPress or there are some challenges to overcome? How about security issues? How do I take care of that?

PayPal Check out button your shopping site more flexible offering the customers a flex pay option that everyone prefers.

As a customer even I prefer to have a PayPal check out on any shopping site and will use many sites that offer such option availability only.

It is quite easy to add PayPal check out button to your WordPress site. You just need to add PayPal Plugin to your site, but please make sure you are installing the said plugin properly or take the help of a WordPress Manager who can do this task.

If you still want to try adding PayPal Checkout Button yourself check this link on how to do this.-

If you want to add a PayPal shopping cart on your WordPress website, you can use the PayPal Express Checkout plug-in. It features easy and quick configuration; shortcode can be used to build Buy Now buttons that includes plenty of parameters; includes payments history where all payments are stored; viewable payment details from all data collected from PayPal; and a custom thank you page for successful and failed payments.

Unfortunately, PayPal Express Checkout only supports WordPress 3.0.0 until 3.4.2. It may not work in case you have a much later version. If you have a compatible version of WordPress, visit PayPal Express Checkout to download. To install the plug-in, unpack the ZIP file and upload the folder “paypal-express-checkout” to your wp-content/plugins folder. You can also install it from wordpress.org repository and then just activate the plug-in.

If you are using the latest WordPress version, use WordPress Simple PayPal Shopping Cart instead. It supports WordPress 3.0 until 4.1. To try this one, visit WordPress Simple PayPal Shopping Cart 4.0.6. To install, unpack the ZIP file and upload the folder “wordpress-paypal-shopping-cart” to the /wp-content/plugins/ folder. Next, activate the plug-in using the Plugins menu in WordPress.

Once activated, go to Settings and then configure the plug-in like your email address, the Shopping Cart name, the Return URL, and others. To add a product to a post or a page, use the trigger text where you want it to appear.
