Converting DVI to VGA to connect HDMI to DVI

I want to connect a VGA display using the HDMI to DVI cable that I obtained with my Mac computer. I have another display connected using the Thunderbolt to VGA cable.

I would like to know how to convert the DVI to VGA so that I can connect the second monitor using the HDMI to DVI cable?

Hi Tochelle,

This is a very easy thing to do. Just go out in the market and look out for a converter like the one in the image below:

This will convert your HDMI to DVI cable into an HDMI to VGA cable. Then you can connect the second monitor using the HDMI to DVI cable which you just converted into HDMI to VGA cable using the converter.
