Configuration changing made the screen portion on media player
If that is the current condition of your VLC media player, the application really has a problem. Uninstall the application from your computer. Next, check your computer for any possible errors. Use a disk utility application to check the system. For a much thorough diagnostics on the system, use a disk utility application like PC Tools Performance Toolkit or Norton SystemWorks. After checking the hard drive, install VLC media player again. Open it and check if it is already fixed.
If you are using an older version of the media player, try upgrading it to VLC media player 2.0.1. You can download this application at http://vlc-media-player.en.softonic.com/. This version is compatible with Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7 platforms.
