Good day Mr. Martin,

Regarding to your problem, about the Canvas software, try to check the library first, if there’s something wrong then fix it or scan the program with any reliable antivirus software. If you find threats, then remove it. If there are no threats, uninstall the program and reinstall it. If the error still appeared then contact the manufacturer of the product. Maybe you have a corrupted software product.

Hope this one can help you.

If you encountered this problem when using Canvas, first, make sure your computer meets the requirements. To use Canvas, you need Windows 7, Windows 8.x, or Windows 10. For users with Windows 10, you need to download the Windows 10 Anniversary Update to allow you to submit Canvas assignments.

For Mac, it supports OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard, 10.7 Lion, 10.8 Mountain Lion, 10.9 Mavericks, 10.10 Yosemite, 10.11 El Capitan, 10.12 Sierra, and 10.13 High Sierra. It requires 2 GHz or faster processor, 1 GB RAM, 800 x 600 minimum screen resolution, and 512 kbps minimum internet speed.

For the browser, it supports Google Chrome 63 and 64, Mozilla Firefox 57 and 58, Microsoft Internet Explorer 11, Microsoft Edge 40 and 41, and Apple Safari 10 and 11 (for the Apple Macintosh only). Adobe Flash Player 27 and 28 are supported. This is required for viewing, recording, and uploading audio and video files. Extended releases of Mozilla Firefox are not supported.

If your browser is installed with several plug-ins or extensions, try disabling them while using Canvas because several extensions may conflict with Canvas that can affect functionality. If you want to share a document, video, audio, or an image file to commons, you need to enable Commons in your Canvas instance. You need to contact your Customer Success Manager for this.
