Hi,

I am not able to request friends on Facebook and I don’t know why. I only have 197 friends but when I request for friendship Facebook returns a message saying I can’t request friends and that I sent too many requests. All friends I requested before accepted except 3. So why am I having this problem. Was my Facebook account hacked?

Remove the following:

1.  Any groups that has not accepted your request to join.
2.  Any and all game requests
3.  Delete any pending applications or anything else that's left outstanding.
4.  If that doesn't work also go through on internet explorer to remove any friend requests that have not accepted by pulling up friends and clicking the X next to the person.

Reasons Why you are not able to send a friend request.

1) You,re sending too many requests at a single time.

2) You might be requested for unknown people.

3) Do you know this user personally? To prevent misuse of Facebook, this request cant be send. To learn more, please visit the Help Center. If you believe You're seeing this message in error, you can report the problem.

As Far as you are talking about account hacking, I don't think your account is hacked.
