Caepipe error server not found and error 429

Hi all,

Yesterday I started experiencing a problem when using CAEPIPE LM software. When I tried to run it, I was met with two following errors on my screen:

Error. Server not found. SSTLM service is not running in server (MDS-LAP)

Caepipe

Error. Server not found. SSTLM service is not running in server (MDS-LAP)

Error 429. ActiveX componenet can't create object

Caepipe

error 429. ActiveX component can't create object.

If anyone has any idea how to resolve the errors, I'll be really grateful and looking forward to your help.

There are 2 solutions available for your technical issue. The first screenshot regarding "Error, Server not Found. SSTLM service is not running in the server." can be fixed by re-registering the service. You need to go to Start then All programs and choose SST License Manager. Go to Manage license and a window for SST License Manager will appear. Select Tools then click Register SST License Manager. You should see a message that it was successfully registered. The second screenshot regarding “Error 429. ActiveX component cannot create object”.

You need to download the installation file. This should not remove existing activation keys as well when reinstalling the file.
