I have a HP Pavilion G Series laptop and I am trying to install Bluestacks but it keeps telling that I have the recent version that is already installed on my computer. I checked on the installed programs but I couldn't find anything related to Bluestacks. How can I resolve this?

BlueStacks installation failed.

A more recent version of HP Software Framework is already installed on this computer.

You’re trying to run BlueStacks on Windows 8.1. Unfortunately, it won’t work because BlueStacks is not compatible with Windows 8.1.

BlueStacks is one of the best Android Emulators for PC. I also use it. But there is no compatibility of this program with Windows 8.1 as it is one of the most recent OS released. So you can’t run it.

In order to run Bluestacks on your PC, either you have to downgrade to Windows XP, Vista or 7. Or you have to wait for a long time for having the Bluestacks release that is compatible with Windows 8.1.
