Black screen during streaming on VLC media player

I have a DVD that runs only in VLC. I am trying to stream a presentation from DVD that I have burned. However, only the sound of the video can be heard perfectly but the image or the video itself is not displayed. I am only seeing a black screen during streaming.

Do you happen to know if there is a DVD software that streams with Procaster excellently? Or does anybody have an idea on how play the DVD using the VLC or Media Player Classic, Windows Media Player is not an option, sad to say.

Any kind of information would be greatly appreciated.

If the DVD can play perfectly with VLC media player, then the DVD that you burn the copy of that video to should be able to play perfectly too especially with the VLC media player. The problem as to why the video is not playing properly on the new DVD you have burned the copy of the video to is probably being caused by the burner that you are using, and therefore I will recommend for you some of the best burners that you will need to use.

I have used the following burners and for sure they will not disappoint you:

  • Ashampoo burning studio.
  • Nero express.

You can download them for free online, so just pick one and search for it.
