Black background in every right click

When I right click anywhere in my screen, it will always appears as a black background and text on it won't appear until the cursor passes on it or points at it. I thought my PC is slow for opening heavy applications but I only have Google chrome running with two or three sites. So I restarted my PC and removed tweaks on it, but it's still the same.

I think this is not a slow PC issue. This happened after I went to a streaming website to watch a certain movie but I closed it after my right click became like this. Could this be a result of a virus in that website? My Avast internet security didn't warn me anything when I entered it. How can I return it back to normal

Hello!

When you right click and a black menu background is shown is caused by either miss-configure of the settings and virus and Malware infections. Step by steps instructions below are the solutions.

  1. Right click on your desktop, then select properties. It’s the last option in the menu that you need to click . If you cannot view the selections.
  2. From the list of Tabs and options, go to “Appearance” in the display properties.
  3. Click on “Effect” button under the tab.
  4. From the options “Use the following transition effects for menus and tool tips”.
  5. If there displayed “Scroll Effect”, switch this to Fade Effect.
  6. If there displayed “Fade Effect”, switch this to Scroll Effect.
  7. This is caused by faulty transition effect to make the menu blank but sometimes by virus infections.
