Hello! When I download a book or a novel to read most of the times the format is PDF and it opens in adobe reader. But the problem with adobe reader is that you cannot read the book comfortably and its not always convenient to move between pages. Is there any software which allows the reader to read a book in an interface which gives an impression of reading an actual book?

Hello,

PDF is the most popular eBook format all over the world. There are thousands of programs to read PDF books.

Adobe Reader is counted as the leading reader but its UI isn’t so good. That’s why lots of other readers are available.

Foxit PDF Reader is the best for PDF reading, according to my choice. It comes with a heavily enriched environment; beautiful but useful. UI isn’t boring, and everything is handy.

Some other good PDF readers are Sumatra PDF, Nitro PDF Reader, MuPDF etc. They’re also good and rich in feature.

Reading on a computer or on any electronic device is a new trend these days. Traditional book reading has not completely but partially taken over by these electronic devices. Reading on the PC seems to be a better choice as it has a big screen, people can manipulate the font according to their requirement. The various desktop soft wares to read books are mentioned below

Calibre: It is compatible with every ebook format and supports sending books to other readers and smartphones.

Google Books: If you are the one who switches between computers or who cannot install an ebook reader software, then this suits you best. Google books help you to access over variety of books in your browser.

Kindle for PC: It is an Amazon software. If you have Kindle you can sync it with this app on your desktop/phone and read them all here. Here you can make notes, look for words that are present in its built in dictionary, and highlight the points.
