Application error: halting down compute system

I’m using Vista Home Premium and Vipre 3.1.2315 and facing SBAMui.exe Application error. It results in halting down the computer system while the usage of CPU rises up to 100% and ultimately, an error message pops up. Please, have a look at the following screenshot and provide a suggestion. Thanks.

Error:

mmg.exe-Application Error The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000005).Click OK to close the application.

Application error: halting down compute system

Hi,

 

You need to disable that program for a while. I think it runs as startup on your system. Try this steps:

1. Click Start.

2. Click Run.

3. On the input box, type "msconfig".

4. Go to Startup tab.

5. Look for the name of the program, Vipre as what you've above.

6. If the check box if marked, unmark it.

7. Click Ok button.

8. Restart your system.

See if the problem still occurs.

Now try to run the program by clicking its executable.

See if the problem is occurs. If it does, you need to uninstall it or report it as bug. Download latest version if available and install.
