Hello,

I tried to transfer After Effect (AE) files over to Final Cut Pro and received an error message.

The screenshot of the error message is as under. It is really an awful error message.

Have you any idea for the error message?

Please help me to solve the problem.

Thanks.

Hello Joanna,

The reason you might be getting the error is because the Boris Transfer software is not up to date. So I would suggest you to update the software and then try to transfer the files from After Effects to FCP.

If you haven’t tried this software than google it out and you will get the free trial download version.

There are also other plugins available in the market.

Check for FCP2AE from Popcorn Island or similar plug-in.

Make sure that work folder has been created by you before you transfer any of your video.

The above steps should be able to help you resolve the issue.

“Always keep your system up to date.”
