You need to go to Adobe website and download the update for your Adobe Photoshop CS2. But first of all, remove all the contents of your CS2 and reinstall the most recent version. Restart your computer and run your Photoshop again.

Hello,

There are many reason why your system is corrupted: because it needs to update the driver. or the compatibility is not supported.

One way to solve it is to reinstall it again.

If you are connected to internet, unplug it because this will automatically updated  to a latest version thus make the EXE corrupted and maybe its the cause of intermittent download connection.

I recommend to use the updated version in this link: Adobe Illustrator CS4.

Download the update and follow the standard installation until finish.

Please install the driver by unplugging the connection of internet and DISABLE your antivirus.

I hope this help you.

If you receive a runtime error related to Microsoft Visual C++ when using Adobe Illustrator, try this workaround. Open Windows Explorer then navigate to “C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CS Settings”. Delete everything in this folder except the plug-ins folder. If there are other users on the computer who are also using Adobe Illustrator, do this also in their user accounts.

After this, start Adobe Illustrator and see if it works. If this doesn’t work for you, here’s another workaround. Start Adobe Illustrator then load or open a small AI file first. Next, open the AI file where you encountered the problem then see if it works. Most users verify that this method works.
