I have a corrupted avi file that still has sound but the picture moves frame by frame slowly or sometimes it freezes.  Would downloading a CODEC solve this or are the frames damaged and irreparable?  Can I still extract images corrupted avi video?  I'm on Windows xp 64 bit sp2.  Thanks.

Hey, I’m using AVID Media Composer to make videos.  I love working with this platform.  The only problem I have occasionally is fooling around the avid datecode and timecode. How can I easily change and edit the datecode when it automatically set itself wrong?
