Hello Jai,

To resolve the issue that you are getting, you should first of all try clearing out the Temp folder where Zone Alarm stores the initial install folder and see if that will help solve the problem.

Other workarounds that you should try are the following:

  • Try updating the system root's certificates for they may be having issues that are causing that error to occur.
  • It could also be an error with the date and time settings on your computer. In case you recently replaced the CMOS battery and you forgot to reset the BIOS then that could be the possible cause of the problem. You will need to check that and fix it.

Regards,

Carl

Dear Jai,

It appears that power outage really took its toll on your Zone Alarm program files.I have personally had a similar experience with another software. A couple of your .dll files have gone corrupt or have been damaged. Perhaps there was some critical process going on in the background when the power suddenly went out. Im afraid you will have to repair the software. To repair, Go to My computer and then Left-Click on "Uninstall or change a program" on the bar above. It will show you a populated list of your onboard applications. Find Zone Alarm and Click on "Repair" on the bar above. A setup process should guide you through the remaining steps from there on. In case there is no repair option, you will have to uninstall it and then do a fresh install from your own disk or install file.
If you need to download the latest version of Zone Alarm here is a link to their download section:

Good luck
