Zone Alarm Security Suite 9

I am using Zone Alarm Security Suite 9 in Windows 7 with 2 GB RAM (64-bit). Recently it seems like, it is slowing down the Internet. Is that the problem with Zone Alarm Security Suite or due to any other problem. If there is any such issue with Zone Alarm Security Suite, please guide me about how to overcome this issue.

Zone Alarm Security Suite 9

Hi,

First of all disable the windows firewall, because ZA uses its inbuilt firewall. Make sure you disable other anti-spyware programs like spyware doctor or Ad-aware etc. reason being, ZA suite has lots of features like antivirus which uses lots of resources.

Clean temporary files frequently and disable non-system processes like iTUNES, music players, messengers and also auto updates for windows and others applications. If possible increase the RAM size as well, though not necessary.

To delete Temporary files, follow these steps:



1. Go to Start Menu.

2. In the field, type %temp% and press Enter.  This will open the Temp folder itself.

3. Remove the files.
