Youtube response is slow in my android tablet

I have an Android tablet and a Toshiba laptop running Ubuntu 12.04. I connect both these devices to the same wi-fi. Videos of youtube work fine on the laptop but response rate is slower for the tablet. What do you think is causing the tablet to load the videos slowly, with so much buffering? How can this matter be solved?

Hi Alice,
The are several ways mentioned below to increase the android tablet response.
1) You need to remove the unwanted apps and widgets from the tablets home screen. You can access them from the operating system application menu
2) Make free up space in the internal storage.You can add the files in the external memory card and access them whenever required
3) Root the device as it provides the features like clock processor, remove unwanted manufacture installed bloat ware
4) Navigate to settings of the tablet, go to 'Developers' option. Check the 'Disable HW overlays' checkbox
5) Go to the 'Apps' option, select 'Background process limit' option. Select the 'No Background process' option from the list
6) Navigate to 'Settings' > 'Applications' > 'Running Services'. Uninstall all the apps associated with the services that are not
required by the user

Hi Alice,

The main reason will be there computer specifications and architecture. The Toshiba laptop can load YouTube videos faster than the Android tablet because laptop is designed for maximum and powerful performance. On the other hand, Android tablet is dedicated for simple usage and basic functionality. Laptops compare to tablet have more capacity and can load process simultaneously. For example, laptops can have 2-8GB RAM, 1.2-3GHZ and 500GB-1TB Storage while the tablet can only have 1-2GB RAM, 1-2GHZ, 16GB-32GB Storage. From the specifications of each type of computer, it is clearly shown that laptops can do more than tablet.
