WordPress VS Tumbler? Which is good for blog?

Hey guys,

I want to know which blogging platform is more recommendable WordPress or Tumblr? When I asked same question to my friend he said WordPress is much better and gives professional experience and Tumblr too is not bad. But I'm really confused so please tell me which one is good to go with.

WordPress is very good, a bit harder to use than Tumblr but has many tutorials, a great knowledge community and you can ask questions in many forums for users.

 

WordPress

 

WordPress offers customizable themes, plugins and widgets.

 

WordPress offers a Free Version or a $99 per year premium package.

 

WordPress is a great tool if you are going to grow your blog and it also offers a mobile app which gives you the ability to post while out and about using Android, IOS and Blacberry Smartphones.

 

Tumblr

 

Tumblr has a Free Version or premium packages from $19 – $49.00.

 

Tumblr can be described as more of a social media site or micro blogging site than a blog publishing site.  It is sleek looking but it is minimal in features as well.

 

Tumblr is well known for its community sharing and you are quickly able to re-blog others blogs and your dashboard is a running feed that includes your own blog and those of your friends.

 

You should base your decision on what you will be using your blog for, take your goals for growth into consideration and choose accordingly.

Hello, How are you? Tumbler is used for creative activity such as design, photography, fashion, printing, etc. On the other hand, WordPress is used for posting lengthy text. No extra software is needed to be installed for Tumbler. But for WordPress extra software is needed to be installed. Back linking is very much possible in the tumbler. On the other hand Back linking is not very much easier. WordPress is more reliable than Tumbler. It is very much easier to use SEO tools in WordPress. But it is not very much easy to do this work using Tumbler. So, WordPress is better. Learn more.
