My network connection in is not connected, it mark X. But when you place your mouse pointer, it has internet connection. Yes! I can still access the internet even the status is not connected. What is the reason behind?

Your computer might have more than one connection to the internet. The icon you are seeing on your system tray indicates that a connection that is not being used. This may not be the same connection you are using to connect to the internet because, as you mentioned, you are not having problems accessing the internet.

The red X may indicate a disconnected Bluetooth LAN connection, or a wireless connection network.

You can find all your network connections by going to the control panel and clicking on Network connections. Here, you will find which ones are connected and which ones are not.
