Hey Clark Orcus!

There is a possibility that the option of Automatic restart is enabled in your windows. You just have to disable this option to get rid of restarting automatically. For this purpose follow these steps.

1. Click on start button and open Control panel.

2. Click on "System" here.

3. On the left side you can see Advanced System Settings. Click on it.

4. After clicking on it, you have to click on settings.

5. In startup and recovery window "Uncheck" the automatically restart option.

6. Click on ok button and close the system window.

You are done now.

Thanks

Hi,

Above mentioned comment shows you how to disable automatic restart when the windows 7 is running. But if you can’t enter the windows 7 successfully before the blue screen appears you won’t be able to disable automatic restart as mentioned above.

I tell you how to disable automatic restart before the windows 7 start.

Press F8 key continuously while restart the windows 7. Make sure you have to do this before the windows 7 splash screen appears. Then you can see the windows goes to the advanced boot option.

Advanced boot option is very helpful when you have to repair windows without deleting files.

There is a list of troubleshooting tools.

Then select the last known good configuration if you have a windows startup issue.  You have to do this first because this option can return last configuration of your system where you successfully shutdown the system last time.

If this not works then try the Disable automatic restart on system failure. After you will be able to find fault.
